Mom and Dad just left and I am feeling a little sad, but also just so grateful and happy that they could come!! Most of you probably know that our pregnancy has been a bit of a challenge the past couple of months. Most recently, August 29- September 1, we had to stay in the hospital due to some complications caused by a fibroid that is sharing a home with our sweet little one. I am such a lucky woman to have an amazing, supportive, loving husband in Ryan- I could never have made it through the week without him. I want to thank everyone for the prayers and positive healing thoughts that you have sent our way. Today, I am finally feeling pretty good and thankfully baby has been active and healthy through everything!!! It was such a blessing to have my parents here to help us recover. What's better when you don't feel good, but your Mommy and Daddy :)?
Surprise!!!
Ryan and I were completely surprised by the baby shower that Mom, Dad, Don and Chris prepared for us! We are so grateful for all of the wonderful gifts sent by our family and friends- it truly was so special for us to have so many people with which to share in the joy of our little one!!! Thank you to everyone who helped out and sent gifts!!! It was a wonderful celebration of love after a very trying couple of weeks :)
